What's wrong with our ants?

Posted on the wall of the kitchenette at work. Notice line item 10: "Gourmet Ant Bait."
Oh, but my mind went down a merry little grammatical path with this one. Endless possibilities. Gourmet ant bait could be bait that appeals to gourmand ants because it is so fancy. Or it could be bait that appeals to ants that are, themselves, considered a delicacy. Are we killing the ants or capturing them for consumption? Will they become chocolate-covered ants?
It reminds me of the "vegetarian broccoli" at our employee cafeteria. I presume this is broccoli that has never eaten meat. Watch out for the vegan broccoli, though. I wouldn't trust that.
Sadly, I will likely never know the answer to the gourmet ant bait question, because it was not used on our floor. It's a shame, really. I would put our ants up against those on any floor, in any office tower, anywhere.
And, yes, someone did walk up as I was taking a photo of the notice with my phone. I just didn't turn around. It was embarrassing enough without acknowledging my action.

There is indeed the additional possible meaning - a fancy ant bait delicacy for human consumption - not sure what section of Hubbell and Hudson?
