I may just be too old for this stuff.
Friday, July 2, 2010 at 1:51PM I counted them all, and I have more than 20 user IDs and passwords that get me through life. This cannot be the way it's supposed to work. It simply can't. I refuse to believe that the human brain was intended to create multiple associations of unrelated letter (and number and symbol) strings and then further associate them with other unrelated objects such as bank accounts, web hosting sites, online subscriptions and on and on and on.
I do wonder, however, if my children's generation will have an easier time of it, merely because that's all they have known. Will their brains build pathways that make this nonsense seem normal?
I suppose I could research it; but it's the Friday before a holiday weekend, it's raining, and I so need some coffee.
Happy Fourth, everyone. Think of TJ and Co., battling heat and malaria and each other in that Pennsylvania state house, all because they knew things could be better than they were.
