Grand opening? Grand closing.*

As of yesterday, the home fitness store I told you about here is still open. In fact, the owners are still celebrating the grand opening. I first wrote about the establishment on May 14. It's been more than a month--and that's just counting the time since I noticed it. How long should an enterprise be able to drag out its "grand opening"?

I would think you'd want to set some sort of limit on that, wouldn't you? Maybe a week or so? Because, really, I am expecting this place to fail. I don't want it to fail, mind you; I merely think it will. And it would be kind of sad if, the same day they lowered the "Grand Opening" banner, they replaced it with, "Going Out of Business."
