I'll bet he says that to all the girls.

Overheard on my way to use the facilities at Luke's Locker before "Ten for Texas" last weekend.

Dude, to chick: "Yeah, I don't run anymore. The doctor said I had too much testosterone in my system."

Wow. I mean, really. Wow. Good luck to you, my brother.

The important part here is that I ran the race and finished it. I thought it would take me two hours to run 10 miles. It did not. Not even close. Woo-hoo!

I realize this is not about writing, and I promised I would write only about writing on this blog. So...tell me the guy above isn't going to show up somewhere in a book someday. Just tell me that. And then ask yourself if you believe it.

I don't know. With writers you can never tell who will end up in their book. Congrats on the run.
