Quoth the raven: Click-clack.
Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 6:29AM I have 45 minutes, all to myself right now. Oh, man. I will bet you a whole dollar that I just jinxed it. This new keyboard is very loud. It's all clicky and clacky. The old one (the wonky one) was very quiet. Should it be this difficult to find a good keyboard?
It should not.
First, the news. WHOSS was featured in The Alcalde, UT's magazine for alumni and friends. We are in the "New to the Nightstand" section, as promised back in...September? I think that's right. I would include a link to the online version, but it's not available yet. They seem to lag one issue on the Web site. Regardless, I couldn't be more pleased. At this moment. About WHOSS.
Second, the footnotes. Thanks to Stasa and the kind people at Squarespace (that's who powers this site), I finally spent some time refreshing my memory on HTML and added some anchor tags to the most recent chapter of Brave Front. These will let you jump to the footnotes section to read my oh-so pithy commentary, and then also jump back to the not-quite-as-pithy-but-sort-of-worth-a-read text when you are finished with said commentary.
(I am seriously annoyed by the keyboard. It's totally quiet in my house--as quiet as it can be, anyway--except for click-clack, click-clack. I feel like I'm trapped in an Edgar Allen Poe story.)
Third, more footnotes. But a different kind. I have uploaded a photo of my birthday boots onto my fan page. Check them out. You'll be glad you did. While you're there, become a fan if you're not one already. (See what I'm doing here? See?)
Let's stop there, shall we? I need more coffee; and now I have to dig around for yet a third stray keyboard in my house. I'm serious. This is not acceptable.
