And...rejected!

My definition for "coffee" was not picked up by the Urban Dictionary. To be clear, we hate them now.

Not really. But won't they feel silly when EVERYONE is saying it in a few months? Yep. They sure will. And I'll just smile and say, "Oh. What? Really? I guess I remember submitting that. Hmm."

In other news, someone tampered with the rear brake line on my bike last week. (This isn't nearly as nefarious as it sounds, for all my effort. It was my daughter; and it was completely unintentional.) The result? I had to run on Friday. I have not run in months. Months!

And guess what? Piece of cake. Two miles; not a lot, but I'll take it. And here's the funny part. I don't listen to my iPod when I ride my bike. I'm worried I'll pull out in front of a car, because I'll be so caught up in the music.

But when I run...I mean I'm so slow I don't think it's an issue, the car thing. Anyway, I was listening to the music on Friday, and I kept thinking, "Hey! I love this song!" And then I would run some more, do a little character development in my head (what's his motivation; where's he from; what did his dad do for a living; why is he such a tool, really), and then another song would start and I would think, "Hey! I love this song, too. These are all my favorite bands. Wow!"

Eventually, I remembered that it was my iPod and I had created the playlist. The takeaway here is that I spend too much time in my car, at the mercy of the radio. Bad, bad radio.

Bad radio.
