Weekend recap.

In no particular order:

• It's possible--just possible--that Nine Inch Nails' Closer is not the best song to open a set at a suburban pub.
• A victory is a victory, no matter how ugly.
• Small women can be quite good at arm-wrestling (and evidently leg-wrestling, too, although this is pure hearsay on my part).
• Hickory Farms is still in business. (Who knew?)
• I need to learn Spanish.
• My friend Michelle is crazy-funny.
• Freeze-damaged foliage smells horrible.
